How do you follow an MIA post when you have been MIA again?!

So this is awkward...

I wrote about being MIA and here I am again feeling like I need to explain a 9 month absence, and before you ask no I am most definitely not with child!

Back in October I landed myself a kick ass promotion at my job which moved me into a role much more suited to me as a person and I have been super busy trying to show that I was worth giving the promotion to and that I am right for the role. I know what you are thinking, they gave me the promotion they must have thought that already... yes but I am a perfectionist and I would hate for anyone to reward me and later look back on it and think that it was a mistake!

So whilst working super hard to show that I am most definitely up to the task, I have yet again consumed myself so much that I have kind of forgotten who I am and have neglected all hobbies again. An awful habit I know, this is one that I am desperately trying to correct!

So how are you all how is your 2017 going? Have you checked in at the half way point to see if you are on track for your resolutions/goals which you set yourself for the year? - I can't even remember what my resolutions were and as for goals I think I am getting there... but they are all work related and I definitely need to sit down and have a reassessment.

My promotion should actually mean that I have a little more time for doing things such as blogging as I am now on the road more which means I have evenings in hotels with time to kill. Instead on binging on rubbish films on TV I really should be making more use of the time!

What were your goals for this year? And have you reached them? What are you doing to make sure you are focused? I would really love to hear from you... literally anyone out there that has bothered to read this far!

If you have read this far then thank you.

Love E xx

M.I.A

It's been a rather long time since I last posted. Couldn't even bring myself to look and see what the date was of my last post and exactly how long it has been.

I have been M.I.A I know, apologies. Not that anyone actually reads this regularly... I just like to think that they do! I have been tied up with work, I have been really pushing myself for the last couple of months at work, almost to breaking point in an effort to prove myself  and what I was working towards. Thankfully, after many long days, long commutes to other locations, and lots of tears (behind closed doors) I can say it has finally paid off... I secured a promotion and a move into an area of the business that I really wanted to work in. It does however require a lot of work..! But the good news is that I am going to be travelling a lot now for my job and that means that I have time on trains and in hotels which I can spend blogging... so I am hoping to be much more productive on here going forwards.

The thing is I have gotten a little lost with my blog and my YouTube, I want to make things that people want to read or that help to inspire, problem is I don't know how much people really want to hear about my life. And at the moment I haven't exactly felt inspired myself, so I don't feel like I can really help others.

I have (as always) though decided to just plod on, and push ahead. I have just signed up for something which I am quite excited about, a company has recently reached out to me about becoming an inspirational speaker for them, with the possibility of becoming a mentor for young people. - This is something which I think might start making me feel like I am making a difference again and will force me onwards.

If you are reading this,  and have managed to get all the way to the bottom what would you like to read? Obviously this is going to be non fiction... but would you want to continue hearing about my life and inspirational bits and pieces thrown in here and there? Or would you prefer something more specific? Let me know what you think in the comments, or on Facebook, or twitter... or any other social media you can find me on!

Finding Yourself

As children it is instilled in us to think about what we want to be when we grow up, what if even when you have grown up you still don't know? What are you supposed to do then? How are we as adults supposed to discover what it is that we want to do?

People always say, "you learn from your mistakes" and that through trial and error you grow as an individual. But what if you feel at turmoil with yourself? When you have made the mistakes, tried things through trial and error and you are still no clearer on where you want to be? Instead you are surrounded by a somewhat chaotic mess of the things you have tried but haven't worked out.

The best advice people can offer to the confused individuals is "why not focus on your hobbies, you never know one of those could become your job'. How does anyone really achieve this?

As you can tell, I am one of those people who never knew what they wanted to be when they grew up. My answers ranged from rock star to underwater archaeologist! I know the things that I am good at and I know the things which I have as hobbies, but somehow I have found myself working for an investment firm... a role which I fell into by default through my work experience and where life took me. Never ever in a million years did I think that I would end up working in investments, surrounded by information about the stock market, how people are going to invest, and how much risk they would like to take with their money. The whole concept is so far fetched to me, all I ever wanted to do was something creative!

How are we supposed to find enough joy to get us through our working days when so many of us are in environments which don't suit our personalities? We can't all pack up and decide that we want to run a bar on a beach in a far away tropical island. We also can't pack up our jobs tomorrow and just pray that our hobbies take us places. We must, by default, build our personal lives and hobbies to such a point that we become known for them to friends and family. In vain hope that a chance comment somewhere down the line from someone could lead to employment or a business idea.

Does anyone else feel a calling in life but they just can't hear the call clearly? It's a vague muffle that you know is out there but you have no idea where?

You CAN do this

Everyone has those days when they just think I can't do this any more. I've had enough. Or spend their day thinking what am I doing? I can't do this! I don't have the right skills or I don't know enough. I am here to tell you that you absolutely CAN do this.

Everybody has those thoughts, everyone doubts themselves at some point, remember that even when you feel that you are completely alone, you aren't. Even in that thought pattern, someone else somewhere in the world will be feeling exactly the same way, so you aren't alone.

The problem is when you are feeling at your lowest point, or like no one can relate to you those people who feel the same, who have gone through what you're going through and come out the other side, they are no where to be seen. When all you want to do is stand in the middle of the room and scream at the top of your lungs "DOES ANYONE UNDERSTAND?!" you can't see anyone around you that looks remotely like they are going to be the one to say "I know how you feel".

Trust me those people may be closer than you think, all you need to do is have a little faith. I am a firm believer in what you put out in the world will come back to you. You need to have a little faith and trust that someone at some point will turn around and say "it's ok, I know exactly how you feel". It could be at work when you confide in a colleague, or a friend when you answer the question "are you ok?" truthfully. Or even in the most unexpected of places when you feel like you don't have anything in common with the people around you.

If you don't have the confidence to say what's really on your mind, or that you have been struggling with something recently, then my advice would be just put love in to the world. If you put love out into the world you would be amazed how much you get back. It may even be in these moments of giving a compliment that someone opens up to you and you find common ground and the reassurance that you have longingly be looking for!

If someone helps you out, or simply just does a great job have you told them? Have you paid someone a compliment recently? You would be amazed at some of the responses that you get. Even if nothing comes of it and someone just says thank you, isn't it better to have made someone feel better about themselves for the day?

Put some love out into the world, you'd be amazed at what comes back around.

And even if you don't feel like doing that, just keep plodding on, everything always happens for a reason.

Time for a change

I decided a little while ago that I needed a change with my hair. Now for any woman this is can be a drastic move. Especially if like me you are growing your hair and then decide one day that enough is enough and lop it all off!

My hair was down to my bra line and I decided one day on a whim that I was done with this and so went into a hairdressers and cut it all off to shoulder length. Stupidly because this was such a spontaneous decision I didn't go to my normal hairdressers and needless to say I wasn't overly pleased with it! I have this weekend been to see my normal hairdresser to confess to my sin and have her look at it for me and see if she could correct the somewhat uneven cut I had. As always my hairdresser worked her magic and I am now really pleased with it.

Moral of the story, when you find a hairdresser you like always go there, especially when you are having a crazy moment!

Deal of the Week - Starbucks

Hi Peeps,

Just a quick post, I have discovered a deal which is on until the 6th May which I think you may all be interested in...

Through the Starbucks app this week you are able to get 50% off your order when you order ahead, all you need is the app, some credit loaded onto it and a store which accepts pre-orders (most major branches do). I ordered a coffee and a toastie for lunch today, I got them for half price and they were ready for me as soon as I walked in!

Definitely a deal worth knowing about, also if you order for the first time through the app this week you get double points for the rest of the week on purchases. Double the points and half the cost! It's a good week for a Starbucks pre-order!

Just a super quick post got lots to do tonight. I hope you are all well, catch up properly soon.

A blue day

Ever have one of those just unknown days that creeps up on you? You just feel a little numb and there is no rhyme or reason to it? I'm having one of those today. Absolutely no need for it I have had a really nice and relaxed weekend, but for some reason today my head is just elsewhere. I have tried to concentrate on all sorts of different things today but it's just no good.

Now I know that this makes for a fairly depressing read, after all you should know by now I am the positive one. The person that will always seek to point out the silver lining to every miserable situation or day. But today is just a 'meh' today - the best way that I can think to describe it. But I know that a lot of people know what 'meh' days feel like.

I have been doing a lot of soul searching as you all know from previous posts, but today I just feel like a little bit of a lost cause (I know right? Get the tiny violin out for me please). What is it that we should all focus on to snap us out of a funk when we get into one? Just decide that today isn't the day to face the world and go back to bed? But that would surely carry it on? Head out and try to be social - one of the things that you probably least feel like doing. So as always what is it that we revert to? An outlet of some kind, now everyone has their own, mine just happens to be creative. Hence why I am sat here writing this. Whatever your outlet be it running, singing, driving whatever it may be immerse yourself in it. The sun will always rise again tomorrow.

Raw Emotions

Several things have happened recently in my life. Things which have evoked raw emotions. The kind of emotion that you don't come across very often in your life (especially if you aren't a particularly emotion person on an every day basis).

All this raw emotion of course lead to me thinking, how often do people feel raw emotion? And are there many people who allow themselves to feel it whole heartedly?  I am very in touch with my deep emotions and can very much keep them in check. However not so good at my surface, everyday emotions, and sometimes struggle to keep these in check - I have a rubbish poker face!

But how do all the people who don't allow themselves to feel raw emotion cope? Do they constantly shut things away and say that enough is enough and that they aren't going to allow themselves to feel anything?

I have witnessed traumatic situations, dealt with heartache and felt the dull numb that you get when your world feels like its falling apart. So what keeps us going? Another set of emotions, the ones that I like to cling to and elevate on a daily basis. The emotions that will always trump the trauma, the disbelief, heartache and pain. - Hope, love and joy. There's a reason why we do things and there is always a feeling that we have that spurs us on. It's the hope that things will get better, hope for things to become what we dream of, hope that tomorrow or next week or next year are going to be our year. Love for the people around us, love for our talents and passions, love of life and all that it brings. And of this of course will lead eventually to joy & happiness.

If you, like several people I know at the moment, are reading this and feeling the first set of emotions, pain, particularly if you are feeling numb then I promise you it won't be too long until you feel hope again. You have to get through the pain to come out the other side. It is always darkest just before the dawn. Find the one thing that sets your soul on fire. That passion that makes you come alive, hold on to it, cherrish it and use it to spur you on. And on the days where you don't feel positive and you are struggling to see past the pain and upset, turn that into your fuel to move forwards and make a difference. If we never move forwards we would never grow as individuals. How could you ever be the best version of yourself if you didn't grow?

I heard a wonderful saying that I will live by for the rest of my life. People are like mirrors, its always the shattered ones with all the cracks that reflect the most light.

Our hard times, upset and cracks are the things which make us an individual and give us our own story. The people who have been through the most traumatic of things who have slowly pieced themselves back together often make for the best individuals that you will ever meet.

So next time you experience blinding heartache or numb pain as your world falls apart just remember broken mirrors always reflect the most light back into the world.

Decisions & Relationships

How do we ever make decisions about opportunities, or things which we deem are needed? Perhaps you're a list maker (I definitely am), or perhaps you are a fly by the seam of your pants type of person? Does your tactic change depending on the situation that you are presented with?

And once a decision has been made and you have or are living with the result of your choice, how do you judge if you made the right decision? Again is that based on a feeling? Or do you logically assess your rationale and qualify the outcome as being correct?

We are all unique, no two people are the same. We each have our own personalities and perceptions of the world around us - something which we are all guilty of sometimes forgetting.

The reason all of this has surfaced as a thought and a subsequent blog is due to an anniversary in my life of a controversial decision. One that divided the people who were in my life at the time. There are times in our lives where we need to make decisions which won't be popular but that we have deemed as needed, by which ever of the above tactics you used. But how do we make others see that there is a reason behind this, one that is so important to you that it really does matter, so much so that your heart and soul need it?

I would like to say that I am a selfless person (its a trait that runs in the family). Not completely selfless, I have never cut my hair for charity or done anything overly extreme for the good of others (I take my hats of to those who do). But we (the family members) can be selfless to those around us sometimes to our own disadvantage. So how, (when it doesn't come naturally) do you try to make someone understand that for just this rare occasion you need to make a decision that is solely for you? That's a hard conversation to have, and one that doesn't sit comfortably with the receiver.

If you have ever been at a turning point in your life such as this you will understand what I mean. It's the conversation that can divide people, to the point where you will find out who is really there to support you, and who was just along for the ride.

Also, once you have wrapped your head around all of the above, what do you do when someone from the past suddenly appears, or continues appearing intermittently and you don't know what to do? Do you make a list? Do you quantify the options? Or do you go with the heart - the one thing that pushed you to make a life changing decision in the first place?

Food for thought

It's one of those days

Do you ever have those days when you just feel a little bit meh... no particular reason you just don't feel particularly amazing? I'm having one of those days today.

I have just had a week off of work and have spent the whole week chilled out, I think it's just the reality that tomorrow it is back to the normal manic routine! Also I have spent quite a few days looking at my living room thinking that it's not how I want it yet. But I can't decide how it will look for me to be completely happy with it! I need a desk that's for sure! I spend far too many hours moving books on and off my dining table and enough is enough. I need to just admit that I need to make a small home office / desk sanctuary! Therefore I am off to IKEA shortly to see what I can get to create a miniature office!

Other than that its just a meh day, not really feeling myself today. I seem to have lost all energy and motivation.

You never know if the office turns out ok and I like the look of it I may post a little picture on here... we'll see.

I hope you are having a most inspired and happy weekend than me!

Lets Kick Start 2016!

Another year has begun and I am going to kick start it as I mean to go on. Towards the end of last year I felt like I was going to finally get into the swing of making YouTube videos but that didn't quite go to plan! I am now going to kick start the year with every intention of uploading one video a week, but lets face it even if its just 1 a month that would be a vast improvement on last years performance!

I will write another epic post with my updates for the year and a bit more of a heart to heart, but for now lets just get the plugging out of the way! I want to make my channel a little more like me, and true to myself so I am going to start uploading a little bit of all sorts! Here's the latest instalment to my YouTube channel sorry that this is one of these links and not an inserted box... for some reason my blog has decided that it doesn't want to play ball...

Anyway enough for tonight! Enjoy the video xx

Dream big, or don't dream at all.

I have spent so much time recently thinking that I need to do some soul searching, that I appear to have clouded my own way. I used to feel passionate about all things creative, but recently I have lost enthusiasm. The reason for this? Simple. I haven't been surrounding myself with the things that bring me happiness.

When I started to lose enthusiasm for all things I take pleasure from in life, instead of doing more of the things I loved, I decided blindly I must be missing something and that I therefore needed to do some soul searching. I have been searching now for around 6 months, and I have come back with absolutely nothing. If anything, I have ended up getting further from where I want to be. I (for some unknown reason) decided that I should be spending my downtime out of work, learning more about the industry I am in 9-5 every week. Now don't get me wrong I am all for becoming the guru in your role, but what if you are one of the millions of people who work in an industry that isn't where you dream to be?

I can only think of two friends who are working in exactly the environments that they set out to be in, and only one of whom knew from when he was a child. So why is it that so few of us manage to work in the industry or environment that we dream of? Are we all afraid to try and make our dreams become our realities? I for one have spent pretty much my life not knowing what I wanted to be when I "grew up" (whenever that is... ) but I knew the type of industry, I may not have known the role, but I knew it needed to be something creative, whether that was through fashion, design, make-up whatever medium it took, it just had to be creative. So how have I come to work in a wealth management firm, working alongside stockbrokers? Now I don't want you to read this and think I don't like my job, far from it, I work with some amazing people and my role is extremely diverse every single day. But you can't compare financial markets to my love of looking at a pair of Louboutin's or a stunning dress from Alexander McQueen.

Are we conditioned from a certain age that we should just follow the path that we are blindly being led down? I have grown up in an extremely supportive family, always being told that I could be whatever I wanted to be. My problem was that I never knew. What I was blind to at the time is that there was a recurring theme, nearly everything I took pleasure from or wanted to take up as a hobby or study was creative. Instead, after my first few serious jobs (which happened to be finance related), I followed down a path towards the financial world that I never intended to be on!

I woke up one day and realised that I had lost this enthusiasm that I had always had, a feeling that I never thought I would lose. Not until one morning I woke up and just realised there was absolutely nothing I wanted to do with my weekend. I didn't want to read, I didn't want to write, sew, or film a make-up video. I realised recently that over the last 6 months I haven't really done or taken part in anything creative, and my inspiration and will to sit and write or film a make-up video had nearly all but vanished. Instead, I had been spending my downtime away from work reading about financial markets, studying for exams related to work, trying to keep up to date with relevant news articles. Instead of allowing myself to be my true self in the walls of my own home I was trying to mould myself in to having a passion to live eat and breathe finance. I thought that by trying to turn myself into having a passion for the financial markets I would be able to find the happiness that I had lost. How wrong could I be?

With the help of one of my dearest friends I have started to find myself again. She helped me to discover Ted Talks, and in turn some inspirational videos about how its O.K to be completely yourself. I watched two videos to begin with, all about being yourself and daring to dream of the things you want to do. Then two videos turned into 4 or 5 and then I started to do some searching on the internet for other videos on embracing the things you love and the parts of you that make you unique. And finally after 6 months of feeling lost, I feel like I am starting to find my way again. I just needed to reminded that we all need to do more of the things that make us smile and bring us joy. I have spent this weekend writing and reading for the first time in what feels like eternity, and I have spent more hours on Instagram looking through fashion pages and putting together outfit ideas than I care to admit!

So why are we not all pushing each other to embrace the things we are most passionate about? Wouldn't the world be a better place if everyone encouraged another human being to just be 100% themselves and not worry about what others may think? Or worry about not getting the housework done for one more day.

I'm challenging you to take time out one night in the coming week to spend it solely on something that you are passionate about, maybe its a craft, or music or maybe you're a movie buff but there's one classic film you've been meaning to watch but haven't. Whatever it is that gets you enthusiastic and you have a passion for, make more time for it in your life. I promise it will make you happier not just in the moment but it will help to lift your spirit. I know that I have been fairly grouchy recently and in a bit of a funk. But what else did I really expect to happen if I just dropped everything I was passionate about. My spirit took a little bit of a kicking but I am nurturing it back to its previous level and hopefully more so.

You can't manufacture passion (as I discovered) it's this feeling you have when you take part in certain things that you just can't get from anywhere else. Whatever that is embrace it, add more of it to your life. We are all too quick to focus on our livelihoods, and as I said before for millions of us that isn't doing something you're passionate about. But would one evening this week really ruin your schedule if you took it out to focus on something that gives you that true happiness all the way to your core... probably not.

A long post this time I know, but just think of it as 6 months of passion which has been M.I.A finally returning!

You can dream as big as you want to, don't let anyone tell you you can't. And if you really dare to dream why not picture yourself making your passion into your everyday job... then you're onto a winner. As my friend and my Mum would say, you are capable of doing anything you set your mind to.

A surreal thing just happened...

A friend of mine has just sent me a message to let me know that my photo is being used as an advert by a hair extension company (not too weird as I have purchased the hair extensions and posted a photo on instagram...)

A photo posted by Emily Rose (@missemilyrose_x) on

This was just a very surreal moment for me, I have never had my photo used as an advert before. Given the number of views that my YouTube is going up by every day I knew a few more people where looking at my videos and social media but this was a new one for me! Flattering none the less!

I am thinking of posting a review video of these extensions as this is something which I have been meaning to do for a while, but since I had clothing hauls to squeeze in I haven't got around to this yet!

In the meantime there are new videos going up quite often on my channel so if you wanted to scoot on over and have a look click here

For now though I need to shoot off got loads to do!

Chill Out Session

This weekend I have decided to give myself more of a weekend off. I have been working very hard recently, particularly over the last week and I wanted to have some 'down' time to regroup and refresh myself ready for the busy time I know I have coming up.

I have recently been studying, working full time, and trying to get back into the swing of making YouTube videos. But this weekend, after a manic week, I just wanted to take the time to sit and do things which I haven't done in a long time or have neglected  through lack of spare time. I have found myself going through old photographs and organising them into ones which I want to display in my home, and ones which I want to keep in an album. This then got me onto thinking about scrapbooking. Something which I have always wanted to do but never have. I have just ordered a scrapbook, so I am hoping that over the next couple of weekends I will be able to sit down and create my own scrapbook/album of all my best memories.

I have also found (what I hope is) a really nice journal, which I want to use separately to keep all my old tickets and receipts in from good times, as soon it arrives I will post a picture and give a review.

I think this is a project which could become somewhat of a love affair, I really love my planner and having a planner on the go and lists. I feel scrapbooking could become the elite of all of these.

I'll let you know how I am getting on!

I hope you are having a lovely weekend.

Keep Smiling

Another year older...

So I am another year older! Well that came around quickly!

I started my YouTube channel just before my last birthday, it was something I wanted to do to push myself outside of my comfort zone... mission accomplished!

I can't believe a year has gone by since I started my YouTube channel and since I started blogging more frequently. Granted not as much activity from me on either of those as I had hoped... but we'll keep plodding on.

So hey, how are you? How've you been? I feel like I'm almost starting over again it's been so long. The deal is I have been manically busy at work, short staffed, change of staff etc. plus I have just signed up to do a qualification through work. This means I have to take time out of my normally fairly quiet evenings to sit study instead of doing things like blogging. Although it means less down time to myself, I have to say I am loving it, for one main reason. It means I get to get all my highlights, notepads, pens, post it's, and pencils out from when I was at school and college. This makes me exceptionally happy. I am a massive stationary freak!

I am going to try and blog every now and then as part of my routine. Going to try and fit this in as part of a study break casually update you while my head is spinning from trying to absorb information out of a text book!

I will keep you posted on progress as always.

I hope you are enjoying the summer sunshine, here in England its a little hit an miss, but I am trying to make the most of it when it does appear!

Ciao for now,

I'm back..

I feel like I have been away for a while, I have definitely been away from YouTube for far to long. Again apologies, I am leading a hectic life this side of the keyboard! I have been focusing on work and friends, and my hobbies have taken some what of a back step. I have, however, just looked through my laptop and found lots of goodies to go up on YouTube and have filmed a new video this weekend just gone, so I will have something for you to watch soon. In the middle of editing one at the moment, of at least 3 ready to go up in the near future so stay posted for those.

How are you? What've you been up to? It feels like its been forever since I last sat down and had time to really focus on anything! I have been doing lots and so many different things that I haven't focused on one in particular, do you ever get that? Anyway enough rambling! Summer is starting to finally arrive. I have been making full use of the sun whenever it has graced me with its presence, and I am hoping to get my wardrobe swapped over to my summer wardrobe in the next few weeks, I am just waiting for more constant nice weather to do this!

Going to keep it short and sweet today, but I will upload videos soon and may do a summer wardrobe video at some point!

Keep Smilling.

That get up and go feeling

I have been doing a lot of thinking recently, due to the new home and new found independence, a new city to live in, and all those good things. And the fresh start in a new home has really given me a motivational boost that I was much in need of to kick start me again and get me going.

I am also now commuting to work on foot, which is a completely new thing for me, I have never been able to commute by foot before. So this is a nice refreshing start to each and every day. My walk and daily exercise along with the new home is making me feel freshly motivated and inspired to work harder.

So therefore there are going to be more Blogs from me and hopefully more YouTube videos. I am just feeling all round more inspired just do the things that I love. I think also the fact that Spring is clearly on the way is massively helping, the evenings are lighter and the weather seems to be ever so slightly better. Having done my Spring cleaning over the last two weeks, I feel like I am ready to really crack on with this year and make things happen. As they always say work hard, play harder.

What are your plans for this Spring time? Have you got a new hobbie which you have taken up or something which you have found a love for? I am going to try and pick up the pace with my blogging and videos, but my Mum is also teaching me to sew, I will keep you updated on the progress!

Hopefully the motivational bug will come through the PC and get you going!

Remember, think positive and positive things will happen!

New Beginnings & Spring Cleaning!

I have started another new beginning, if you read my previous blogs you will know that I recently moved back in September from the countryside to a city. We needed to move quickly, due to starting new jobs and needing to be up in the city for set dates. So it was more of a case of get there in time, not picking the right place. I have now found the perfect place which I hope I will call home for a long time to come, but it has meant another house move!

So over the last two weeks while I have been surrounded by boxes I have been thinking about de-cluttering etc. and have come up with some golden rules which I think may help you if you are planning to have a spring clean!

Wardrobe Clearout

All women hate the dreaded wardrobe clear out it is always so hard to cut down on your clothes, but never just throw anything out, always give it to charity shops or clothing banks, that way you know your clothes are going to a good cause. It makes the hard process a little easier when you know it will help someone in need. I have developed the following rules over the years which has helped me massively!

I always follow these three rules (you have to be ruthless to cut down the wardrobe!)
  1. Has it been worn in the last year?
  2. Is it a special occasion item (therefore exempt from rule 1 i.e. a wedding outfit, cocktail dress, funeral outfit etc.)
  3. Does it still fit? (Only one item is allowed to be exempt from this i.e. a pair of jeans which are your motivation for loosing weight etc.

Deep Cleaning for Spring

I would hope that everyone loves spring cleaning as much as I do (being a neat freak it's in my nature) however if you don't and are feeling a little lost as too what you should be doing on top of a normal house clean, fear not, as I have created a list which you can follow for a little help and guidance!

Top 10 things I make sure I include in my spring clean around the house:
  1. Clean the windows, inside and out
  2. Wipe down all door handles with antibacterial spray
  3. Removal all items from kitchen cupboards wipe clean and put back
  4. Defrost the freezer
  5. Clean fridge shelves and freezer drawers
  6. Shampoo carpets
  7. Wipe down all keyboards, remote controls and phone handsets with antibacterial spray
  8. Hoover skirting boards
  9. Clean out cutlery drawer
  10. Hoover under beds
I hope this helped you with your spring cleaning project, needless to say its been a busy and hard couple of weeks moving and cleaning everything but I am finally settled and completely unpacked.

Good luck with your spring cleaning mission.

I wish you spring time cleanliness and happiness!

Perseverance is the key!

It has been far too long overdue, but I have finally managed to get my next YouTube video up!

I have been having all sorts of terrible computer issues of the last 3 weeks since originally trying to get this video uploaded! But today after sitting down this morning and being determined that I wouldn't be beaten I have managed to get my video edited and uploaded!

I hope you enjoy! This is all based around a new matte lipstick which I have purchased from M.A.C which I am in love with and is my new favourite red lipstick. I hope that you love this look as much as I do!

I promise now that I have managed to beat my pc into submission and I have got everything running smoothly again there will be more videos to come.

As always any requests please do let me know!

But for now, grab yourself a cup of something tasty, a bicky and sit back and enjoy this beast :)
